WHERE TO KITESURF IN HK

"Kitesurfing is POSSIBLE in HK".
The route in Sai Kung is the downwind ride Sha Ha to Little Palm passing aside Pak Sha Chau! This is my most favorite route as it's only 10 mins from where I live...And U can practise the tricks without worrying going back upwind! ShaHa is v gusty as the wind is down-the-hills, but occasionally, it's OK to stay there. But after 100m downwind fr the beach, it's v much stable all along. It's advised to contact us before trying by yourself...
Pak Shek Golf Club is the best place when typhoon in the summer as it's relatively stable and safe! And Cheung Sha is a wonderful wave spot. Will definitely try it out at Long Coast Seasports in next typhoon....For after-typhoon (SE usually), Butterfly beach is so nice...
Pls note that most of the beaches are narrow, many people & obstables around. It's OK if u can go upwind.
Otherwise, for beginners, the only places safe to practise in HK are Lung Kwu & Shiu Hau Wan !
Pls feel free to contact me on how to go or check kite2high or windfanshk...
