MuiNe is an Asian Hawaii. Consistent E/NE wind (esp Nov-Feb) is pretty ensured. MuiNe is basically choppy condition. While if u go to next beach up north at Malibu resort, there are some "better" waves, at least less crowdy. And if the wind towards northerly, here's much better than the side-off condition at MuiNe beach.This is how narrow it is (upwind of Jibe Windsurf shop...)Accomodation:

When northerly, Sha Ha is side-shore, and usu will be gusty! But after 200-30om downwind, the wind is much steady! When the northerly is strong, somehow, it can be quite consistent, and u can stay riding at Sha Ha.But when the wind is gusty, I highly recommend to try out the 8.5km downwind ride. Stanley Main Beach is basically not recommended, as it's always gusty, and lots of windsurfers esp in the weekend. And the "officers" of the government water sports center are not welcoming anything putting risk to their users, they see us as playing an v dangerous sport in the area...Anyway, there are quite a few times in a year when blowing strong easterly wind, the wind will be quite good

Shek O Back Beach is a difficult spot, slightly better than Stanley. However, I somehow like this spot. As fr Autumn till early Spring, there are many chance to have wind in the morning, esp when Waglan Island is blowing ENE >40km/hr, guranteed good wind over there.
